In addition to being one of our nation’s most beautiful and artistic coins, it was also the final coin of its kind – the last silver dollar ever made for circulation. But the Peace Dollars series ended almost 90 years ago, and most coins were damaged in circulation or melted for the precious silver, making it increasingly hard to find even a single coin today.
Despite the fact that Peace Dollars become more and more difficult to find with every passing day, this collection features one coin from each of the 10 different years of issue. Remarkably, each Peace Dollar – even the rarely seen 1921 coin and the low-mintage issues – is in very good circulated condition and is protected in a crystal-clear capsule that makes it safe to examine the beautiful design on both sides without fear of damage from dust, dirt and fingerprints.
