In 1903, Beatrix Potter patented a design for a Peter Rabbit soft toy. The following year, Steiff produced their first Peter Rabbit, making this naughty bunny the first literary character in history to be licensed! Now, Steiff has produced a tribute to this beloved character in a deluxe size, measuring almost 1 ½ feet tall! Peter Rabbit is crafted of real mohair and his features are hand stitched. He is dressed in his iconic blue jacket, made from wool. Little brown shoes are on his feet. The shoes are designed with flat soles so he may be displayed seated or standing. He holds a felt radish, surely from Mr. McGregor’s garden! As a final finishing touch, he wears a 22kt gold plated rabbit pin on his lapel, included only in this special edition.
