Led by a smothering defense, Jim McMahon’s passing and Willie Gault’s receiving, the Bears capped off their extraordinary season with a thrilling victory over the New England Patriots, bringing home the team’s first Lombardi Trophy. Now, you can celebrate the Bears’ momentous first Super Bowl championship with this officially licensed silver-plated Super Bowl XX Commemorative Game Coin, available exclusively from the Danbury Mint.
Designed by master artists in America and officially licensed by the NFL, the obverse of the commemorative features raised relief helmet designs depicting the logos for both teams in that year’s Super Bowl along with the official NFL logo and final game score. The commemorative᾽s reverse showcases the official Super Bowl XX logo and raised relief text noting the date and host city.
