Led by Joe Namath’s passing, Matt Snell’s rushing and George Sauer’s receiving, the Jets capped off their extraordinary season with a thrilling victory over the Baltimore Colts, bringing home the team’s first Lombardi Trophy.
Now, you can celebrate the Jets’ momentous first Super Bowl championship with this officially licensed silver-plated Super Bowl III Commemorative Game Coin, available exclusively from the Danbury Mint. Designed by master artists in America and officially licensed by the NFL, the obverse of the commemorative features raised relief helmet designs depicting the logos for both teams in that year’s Super Bowl along with the official NFL logo and final game score. The commemorative᾽s reverse showcases the official Super Bowl III logo and raised relief text noting the date and host city.
